Dr. Alfonso Contreras
Dr. Contreras is a bilingual nephrologist who graduated from the Universidad de Guadalajara — the premier institution of higher education in Jalisco — and completed specialized fellowships in renal nutrition management and hemodialysis. Over more than 15 years of clinical practice, he has built a reputation for rigorous, patient-centered care across all private hospitals in Bahía de Banderas.
Dr. Contreras is an active member of multidisciplinary teams in hemodialysis, PRISMA continuous renal replacement therapy, and kidney transplantation — bringing a holistic perspective to every patient’s care plan.
